From 1970 to 1974, the School of American
Research, under the direction of Douglas W. Schwartz, conducted a major multidisciplinary
program of excavation and other research at Arroyo Hondo Pueblo (map). This collection is now fully housed
in a climate-controlled and secure repository at the School in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and
is accessible to all qualified researchers.
