To the School for Advanced Research
(from Albuquerque):
I-25 North to Exit 284, Old Pecos Trail. Exit right off of I-25 then left onto Old Pecos Trail. (Note: In order to stay on Old Pecos Trail, you must make a right hand turn at the third stop light after you exit I-25.)
Old Pecos Trail to traffic light at Armenta, turn right, go to stop sign at Camino Corrales, turn left. The next stop sign is at Old Santa Fe Trail. Go straight through, then at the Y, bear to the left onto Garcia Street. The School is on your left (660 Garcia St.).
The first entrance has a sign for the “School for Advanced Research,” and also a sign for the “Indian Arts Research Center.” Please use this entrance for SAR Press and the Indian Arts Research Center.
For the Reception Center and the Administration Building (including the president’s office, the Board Room, and the Business office) turn left at the main entrance (the second gate). The sign says “School for Advanced Research, 660 Garcia Street.” The Reception Center is the large building in the parking lot with double wooden doors. To reach the Administration Building walk down the flagstone path.
