To School of American Research
(from north of Santa Fe):
From 84/285 merge left to Downtown Santa Fe (Guadalupe St.). Turn left at the intersection of Guadalupe and Paseo de Peralta. At the intersection of Paseo de Peralta and E. Alameda go straight and then make an immediate left turn onto Canyon Road. At the intersection of Canyon Road and Garcia Street turn right onto Garcia Street. At the intersection of Garcia Street and Acequia Madre continue on Garcia Street. SAR is approximately ¼ of a mile up the hill on the right (660 Garcia St.).
For the Reception Center and the Administration Building (including the president’s office, the Board Room, and the Business office) turn left at the main entrance (the second gate). The sign says “School of American Research, 660 Garcia Street.” The Reception Center is the large building in the parking lot with double wooden doors. To reach the Administration Building walk down the flagstone path.
The second entrance has a sign for the “School of American Research,” and also a sign for the “Indian Arts Research Center.” Please use this entrance for SAR Press and the Indian Arts Research Center.
