Four fellowships are offered yearly for Native American scholars and artists by the Indian Arts Research Center. (Other fellowships are offered through the School of American Research Resident Scholar program.) The fellowships provide opportunities for exploration of new ideas in art and contemporary issues. These ideas feed into ongoing discussions at IARC. Fellows spend several months living, studying, and working on campus, with full access to the Collection. Housing is provided, as well as a stipend. Fellows pursue their own projects but interact extensively with the staff.
